Job Description
This full-time Third Shift Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor role oversees nightly warehouse operations while working hands-on alongside the team. You will lead a growing group of warehouse associates, starting with approximately four employees and expanding to 8-10 as operations scale. The position combines leadership, logistics coordination, and active participation in shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate warehouse performance throughout the night shift.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead third shift warehouse personnel, setting clear expectations and ensuring productivity, accountability, and adherence to company standards.
Work hands-on on the warehouse floor, assisting with loading and unloading trucks to ensure shipments are accurate, complete, and completed on schedule.
Coordinate daily truck routes and support logistics planning to optimize delivery timing and efficiency.
Learn and apply customer requirements and shipment specifications to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant deliveries.
Oversee all shipping, receiving, and material processing activities to maintain smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
Verify incoming and outgoing materials using RF scanners, handheld scanning devices, and warehouse tracking systems.
Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation, including tracking stock levels and movements within the warehouse.
Monitor workflow throughout the shift and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall process effectiveness.
Train, coach, and develop warehouse team members to build skills, improve performance, and support career growth.
Ensure compliance with company safety standards, warehouse procedures, and operational policies at all times.
Communicate operational issues, shipment updates, and inventory concerns to management in a clear and timely manner.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by enforcing housekeeping standards and proper equipment use.
Balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on warehouse and logistics support, stepping in where needed to keep operations running smoothly.
Essential Skills
Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, logistics, or distribution.
Strong understanding of shipping documentation, inventory management, and warehouse processes.
Experience using RF scanners, handheld scanning devices, and warehouse management systems.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy in documentation and inventory control.
Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide, motivate, and support a warehouse team.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift in an industrial warehouse setting.
Ability to lift and move materials as needed to support loading, unloading, and material handling tasks.
Comfort working in an industrial warehouse environment, including exposure to typical warehouse conditions.
High school diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
Experience with warehouse management systems and related tracking technologies.
Forklift experience or familiarity with powered industrial trucks.
Background in warehouse management, shipping and receiving, warehouse inventory, inventory control, or logistics.
Demonstrated ability to build a positive team culture and lead by example.
Dependable, organized, and motivated approach to work, with a strong sense of ownership over nightly operations.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, third shift position based in an industrial warehouse environment. You will spend most of your time on the warehouse floor, standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving materials as needed to support operations. The role involves working around trucks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment, as well as using RF scanners, handheld devices, and warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments. The warehouse environment requires adherence to safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized workspace, with appropriate work attire suitable for an active, industrial setting and physical tasks throughout the shift.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
