Job Title: Warehouse Operator
Job Description
This role supports the accurate and timely movement of goods within a warehouse environment, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping products. The Warehouse Operator ensures orders are processed correctly, inventory remains organized and accounted for, and all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Safely and properly unload trailers of product, verify loads for accuracy, and stage items for put-away.
Pull customer orders from designated warehouse locations and use the conveyor system for sorting and staging.
Hand-load semi-trucks and smaller box trucks according to delivery requirements and load plans.
Operate material handling equipment (MHE), which may include forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachments, and clamper trucks or attachments, in a safe and controlled manner.
Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS), scan guns, and related tools to maintain accurate inventory levels and correct product locations in the warehouse.
Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counting activities as directed.
Communicate and coordinate effectively with associates during shift hand-offs to ensure a smooth transition between shifts.
Work closely with delivery personnel and the early morning receiving crew to support timely and accurate inbound and outbound operations.
Maintain general housekeeping standards in the warehouse to keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Perform additional warehouse duties and responsibilities as assigned to support overall operations.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of warehouse experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to safely and consistently lift 35-48 pounds throughout the shift.
Ability to occasionally move, push, or drag items weighing up to 100 pounds.
Experience working in a warehouse environment with shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities.
Ability to operate or learn to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachments, and clamper trucks or attachments.
Ability to use a Warehouse Management System (WMS), scan guns, and related inventory tools.
Strong attention to detail to verify loads, pick correct items, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
Effective communication skills to interact with team members, delivery personnel, and receiving crews.
Reliable attendance and the ability to work the assigned schedule from Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Comfort working with conveyor systems for sorting and staging orders.
Previous experience supporting physical inventories and cycle counting.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Work Environment
This position is based in a warehouse facility in Anchorage and follows a consistent schedule from Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, involving frequent lifting of 35-48 pounds and occasional movement of items up to 100 pounds. You will work around conveyor systems, trucks, and various @types of material handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachments, and clamper trucks or attachments. The role requires regular interaction with other warehouse associates, delivery drivers, and receiving crews, particularly during shift hand-offs and early morning receiving activities. Steel-toed shoes are required as part of the dress code to support a safe working environment, and general housekeeping standards are maintained to keep the facility clean, organized, and safe.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
