Local Butler event center seeking an experienced Line Cook (Saut Station) $16-$18 hour

Seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook with restaurant experience, specializing in saut cooking, to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be able to handle high-volume service while maintaining consistency, speed, and exceptional food quality.

Key Responsibilities:

. Prepare and cook menu items primarily at the saut station, including meats, seafood, vegetables, and sauces.

. Maintain control of the saut line and coordinate with other cooks to ensure timely and accurate orders.

. Follow standard recipes and plating guidelines with consistency.

. Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies before and during service.

. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station throughout the shift.

. Ensure food is stored properly and rotated according to food safety guidelines.

. Work closely with the chef and kitchen team to uphold kitchen standards.

. Assist in prepping ingredients for the saut station and other areas as needed.

. Communicate clearly with team members and front-of-house staff.

Qualifications:

. Minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.

. Proven skill and confidence working the saut and grill stations, etc.

. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification).

. Ability to read and execute recipes, prep lists, and station breakdowns.

. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

. Must be able to meet background check requirements and pass a drug screen.

This is a Temp to Hire positions and is meant to be long term! Must be able and willing to work weekends and holidays!
