Job Title : I&E Construction Oversight (Instrument & Electrical)

Position Summary:
Leads site or hub Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) compliance activities and oversees the implementation of the safety management system across one or more focus areas, such as Health & Safety (H&S), Environmental, Air, Water, and Industrial Hygiene. Responsible for maintaining the site or hub's license to operate, this role requires a strong foundation of conceptual and practical knowledge within the discipline and a demonstrated ability to broaden functional capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Leads the execution and continuous improvement of global EH&S management systems at the assigned plant(s), site, hub, or business unit.
Drives EH&S performance improvements by coordinating, implementing, and optimizing EH&S and compliance programs.
Acts as subject matter expert for all central EH&S documentation, performing reviews to ensure consistency and compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
Partners in incident investigations related to EH&S concerns, driving the identification and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Oversees the Requirements Management Work Process (RWMP) and fulfills key roles as needed to meet compliance requirements.
Initiates and supports Management of Change (MOC) processes for EH&S programs and regulatory compliance matters.
Serves as the primary point of contact for agency visits and ensures appropriate protocols are developed and followed.
Manages environmental permits, including preparing and submitting applications for new and modified equipment, changes, and renewals.
Coaches, trains, and mentors EH&S technicians and other team members, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
Conducts site and plant assessments to evaluate gaps in EH&S processes or compliance, and develops action plans as necessary.
Develops, reviews, and delivers EH&S-related training for employees and contractors to ensure a strong safety culture and compliance with policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in EH&S, manufacturing, or a related discipline is required.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Capacity to influence and lead teams, promote best practices, and drive organizational change.
Software / Technical Skills:
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Ability to read P&IDs
Familiarity with digital drawing viewers (MicroStation / AutoCAD viewers)
SAP and CATS exposure preferred but can be taught
Schedule:
50 hours/week (5x10s)
Typical hours: ~6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Occasional weekends and overtime possible
