As a Security Officer - Medical Center - Full Time in Smyrna, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

Mon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Tue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff movement, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.

Support daily operations at the location by documenting incidents, providing directions, assisting with de-escalation, and/or following post orders for unarmed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

Hospital-required vaccines are required.

This position may involve working in a hospital morgue.

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Be at least 21 years of age.

This position may require restraining individuals in a hospital environment.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
