As a Security Officer in Richardson, TX , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.57 / Hour

Day Time

Wed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to support site personnel during escalations or emergency events.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.

Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, deliveries, and/or vehicle activity in accordance with site protocols and restricted-area requirements.

Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
