Job Title: Shipping Assembler - Integration Department (Clean Room)
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling and refurbishing electronic hardware in a clean room integration department, including POS systems, computers, and other electronic equipment. You will handle order picking, basic troubleshooting, and data entry in the computer system while maintaining high quality and accuracy in a modern, well-organized facility.
Responsibilities
Assemble electronic hardware such as POS systems, computer components, and other electronics within a clean room integration department.
Refurbish electronic equipment by inspecting, disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling components according to established procedures.
Enter work orders and related information accurately into the computer system to track progress and maintain documentation.
Troubleshoot basic system issues, including identifying and resolving simple hardware or connectivity problems.
Pick orders and parts from inventory to support assembly and integration activities.
Use hand tools and minimal power tools safely and effectively during assembly and refurbishment tasks.
Follow manufacturing and assembly guidelines to meet quality standards and production timelines.
Handle and move products and components, including lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within the clean room and surrounding production spaces.
Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues, delays, or quality concerns to ensure smooth workflow.
Essential Skills
At least 6 months of assembly experience in a production or similar environment.
At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly as required.
Proficiency using a computer for tasks such as data entry and work order processing.
Ability to use hand tools for assembly and refurbishment work.
Comfort with minimal power tool usage in a controlled environment.
Basic troubleshooting skills for electronic systems and components.
Experience working with inventory, including picking parts and tracking materials.
Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience assembling or refurbishing electronics, such as POS systems or computers.
Familiarity with integration or clean room environments.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple work orders and tasks.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a production setting.
Solid time management skills to meet production and quality goals.

Work Environment
The role is based in a very spacious, newer building that is clean and temperature controlled, providing a comfortable and consistent work setting throughout the year. The integration department operates in a clean room environment where electronics and hardware are assembled and refurbished using hand tools and minimal power tools. The facility features modern employee amenities, including a golf simulator and a game room with activities such as shuffleboard and air hockey, offering opportunities to relax during breaks. This is a first-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing a stable daytime schedule in a professional manufacturing and integration environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
