Summary You will serve as a DEPUTY DIRECTOR GLOBAL POSTURE DIVISION, GS-0301-15 in the Plans, Policies, and Operations Department of HQ US MARINE CORPS. Responsibilities You will be responsible for coordinating the development and execution of service plans and policies related to the organization, deployment, and employment of Marine Corps forces in general. You will represent the Marine Corps at senior level meetings and working groups across the Department, the interagency and with governments, and with the Congressional Staff. You will maintain cognizance oversight of the Global Posture Division administrative actions and functions, physical security, and security management program. You will supervise the development and execution of the annual Global Posture Division budget. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, developing and managing global force posture or realignment initiatives; AND developing national strategic guidance and policy such as National Defense Strategy (NDS), National Military Strategy (NMS) or Defense Planning Guidance.
