AR/AP Clerk

Fort Collins, CO | $22/hour

Fully Onsite | Monday-Friday

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants a hands-on role across both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable while building a solid foundation in accounting.

You'll be involved in day-to-day transactional work while also supporting month-end processes and working closely with the accounting team. If you're organized, detail-oriented, and looking for a stable role with growth potential, this is a great fit.

What You'll Be Doing

Accounts Receivable

Process incoming payments (credit card, check, ACH, wire)

Maintain accurate records and documentation

Support general AR tracking and organization

Accounts Payable

Review invoices for accuracy and proper approval

Perform 3-way matching (invoice, PO, receipt)

Prioritize and process invoices based on payment terms

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Process checks, credit memos, and payment requests

Additional Responsibilities

Assist with AP automation tools and ongoing system maintenance

Support month-end close activities

Help maintain organized accounting records and files

Assist Staff Accountant and team with projects as needed

What We're Looking For

This role is ideal for someone dependable, detail-focused, and comfortable managing high-volume work.

2+ years of general accounting, AR, or AP experience

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

Highly organized with strong time management skills

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy

Proficient in Excel, Word, and 10-key

Strong problem-solving and research skills

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Professional communication when working with vendors and internal teams

Education

High school diploma required

Accounting coursework or related education preferred
