What you'll do...
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by:
Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
Supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs
Identifying and communicating goals and objectives
Building accountability for results and measuring progress toward goals
Identifying and addressing opportunities for improvement
Demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning
Ensures standards for food safety and quality testing (e.g., Food Safety Quality Control Plans, Key Performance Indicators) by:
Maintaining accurate documentation and testing control plans
Monitoring laboratory training and testing to ensure personnel proficiency in methods and protocols
Verifying processes and products comply with federal, state, and company specifications
Maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and precision
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by:
Hiring, training, and mentoring associates
Assigning duties and responsibilities
Providing recognition and feedback
Promoting a culture of belonging in the workplace
Leads continuous improvement efforts by:
Collaborating with management (e.g., FSQA Manager) to streamline operations
Maintaining departmental efficiency
Anticipating and resolving issues before they impact compliance, product quality, or availability
Distributing work assignments to ensure timely completion and release of raw materials, bulk, and third-party products
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by:
Implementing related action plans
Utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy
Providing direction and guidance in executing business processes and practices
Manages the business plan for the area of responsibility by:
Communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, and assigning duties
Coordinating workflow and workload
Providing ongoing training (e.g., quality and food safety)
Supporting HACCP programs
Troubleshooting quality issues and assisting with regulatory compliance
Leading special projects
Manages laboratory inventory levels to ensure proper function by:
Following protocols for maintaining tools, equipment, and containers
Monitoring rotation and usage of consumables

The annual salary range for this position is $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...
