YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Finance Manager North America RAD are to:

The purpose of the role is to provide timely, accurate, and decision relevant analysis and advisory to drive decision making in support of North America Radiology business objectives.

The Finance Manager acts as a business partner/advisor and provides decision support to one or more Customer Squads and one or more Functional Clusters. The role is responsible for financial analysis of potential customer contracts, performance reporting, and planning support for the assigned areas. In addition, the Finance Manager will be responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis for assigned product lines across the entirety of North America. The FM will also support one or more Global Product Teams during the development and commercialization process.

Provides advice and support to Customer Squads and Product teams to ensure alignment with Radiology objectives and Financial frame.

· Directly supports Customer Squads

· Finance Representative for Product Teams

· Financial support for Next Gen projects

· Preparation and coordination of financial forecasts for assigned Squads and Products.

· Actively challenges assumptions and seeks to understand full regional financial forecasts.

· With minimal guidance, analyzes financial data, creates Executive Summaries, develops Financial and FTE Bridges for respective functional areas and able to present results independently.

· Support of the preparation of flash reports, financial updates including extended Deviation Analysis, Risk & Opportunities.

· Provide advice and decision support through financial steering and planning, performance tracking, and business analysis

· Ensure proper posting of journal entries as well as complete balance sheet accounts reconciliations as required

· Collaborate with all levels of management regarding financial topics and aligns the Business with appropriate global, regional, and local requirements

· Teams with Radiology Finance Business Group Partners as well as the local country platform teams to address and resolve complex documentation, reporting, audit, and data issues

· Assist in reviewing Cost Center / project Structures and Hierarchies, Master Data, build and execute reports to research and analyze Actuals, Forecast, Budgets utilizing DataOne and other Bayer systems as necessary

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

· Strong finance expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting

· High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

· Ability to work effectively with all levels of the Bayer financial organization

· Strong communication and organizational skills

· Skills & Competencies:

o Ability to connect commercial strategy to execution, identifying risks and opportunities to optimize profit

o Strong decision-making skills and ability to partner across functions to drive actions to completion

o Advanced financial management skills to analyze, interpret, and integrate data for decision support

o Ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment, manage ambiguity, and improve business processes

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multi-functional teams

o Strong prioritization skills when managing competing deadlines

o In-depth knowledge of financial information systems (SAP & D1).

Preferred Qualifications:

BA/BS in a relevant field with 8-12 years of experience; Master's degree;

· Prior PH/RAD experience.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $157,920 to $236,880. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
