The Technician, General Facilities Maintenance, is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment. What you'll do:
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures following established schedules and guidelines.
Inspect, clean, and repair facilities equipment, diagnosing issues using blueprints, manuals, and diagnostic tools.
Conduct major and minor repairs across multiple crafts including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor activities, ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
Document maintenance and repair activities, track parts and equipment orders, and submit warranty claims as needed.
Provide expert advice to support continuous improvement and align maintenance efforts with business needs.
What you'll bring:
Proven experience in preventive maintenance and facility repair to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, wiring, and repairs, including the use of hand and power tools.
Knowledge of plumbing systems and ability to perform minor and major repairs across multiple crafts.
Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and compliance standards.
Ability to interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs for accurate troubleshooting and repair.
Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor coordination.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade or 5 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.
Valid Driver's License.
Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
