Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
This role involves safely loading, unloading, and moving materials within a busy warehouse and ready-mix concrete facility. You will handle goods from delivery through storage and dispatch, maintain accurate inventory records, and help keep the facility clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
Responsibilities
Load and unload materials and deliveries from vehicles such as trucks or aircraft and move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.
Transport goods packed on pallets or in crates throughout the storage facility in a safe and efficient manner.
Stack goods in the correct storage bays while following inventory control instructions and layout guidelines.
Check that all loads are properly secured to ensure safe handling, transport, and storage.
Stack and organize empty pallets to maintain a safe and orderly work area.
Perform daily equipment checks and basic inspections to ensure tools and machinery operate safely and reliably.
Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines to support smooth and continuous operations.
Examine products and materials to verify they conform to established quality standards.
Keep the warehouse and surrounding facility clean, organized, and free of obstructions to support safety and efficiency.
Within approximately two months, enter orders onto an Excel spreadsheet to track inventory and maintain accurate records.
Essential Skills
Experience working in a warehouse, production, or general labor environment.
Ability to safely load, unload, and move materials using appropriate methods and tools.
Skill in measuring materials and products accurately to support quality and inventory control.
Capability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively in a production or warehouse setting.
Comfort with performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting, stacking, and moving goods throughout a shift.
Willingness and ability to learn basic Excel skills to enter and track inventory orders within approximately two months.
Attention to detail when checking loads, verifying quality, and following inventory control instructions.
Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Full-time availability for 40 hours per week, working 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
Ability to consistently work the 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. shift.
Familiarity with warehouse operations in a construction materials or ready-mix concrete environment is a plus.
Comfort working around production equipment and machinery in an industrial setting.

Work Environment
You will work on-site at a ready-mix concrete plant that supplies engineered concrete for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects in the surrounding region. The facility focuses on quality, sustainability, and innovative building materials, producing standard, decorative, and specialty concrete mixes for applications such as roads, foundations, and sidewalks. The environment is industrial and production-oriented, with exposure to outdoor conditions, construction materials, and heavy equipment. You will work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on a 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. shift. The role requires adherence to safety procedures and appropriate attire suitable for an active, industrial setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
