**Diesel Mechanic -- Fleet Maintenance

Location:** Belmont County, Ohio Area

Schedule: Full-Time, Minimum 40 Hours Per Week

Hours: Evening/Night Shift (After 5:00 PM)

Compensation: Competitive wages based on experience

Benefits: Available after 90 days of employment

[An established transportation company is seeking an experienced and dependable ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}Diesel Mechanic[ to provide troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on a fleet of trucks. This position requires a motivated individual who can work independently during evening and overnight hours to ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed before trucks leave for daily operations at 5:00 AM.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

[Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine-related issues.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}

[Perform repairs and maintenance to ensure trucks are safe, reliable, and operational for daily use.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}

[Complete all assigned repairs in a timely manner.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}

[Perform routine preventive maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, fluid checks, and other scheduled services.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}

[Communicate effectively with drivers and owner regarding vehicle concerns, repair needs, and maintenance schedules.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}

[Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts usage.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}

[Ensure the shop area remains organized, clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}

[Assist with inventory and shop organization as needed.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt"=""}

Qualifications
