As a Security Officer Driving Role Unarmed Patrol in San Leandro, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to stay active, work as part of a team, and bring integrity, reliability, and care to every shift.

Pay Rate: $23.01 / Hour

Day Time

Mon07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Tue07:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Wed07:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.

Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.

Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and support loss prevention awareness by reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
