As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Specialist in Sterling, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a professional, welcoming atmosphere. Day Time

Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the banking center, lobby, offices, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.

Complete routine reports and incident documentation related to daily activities, patrol findings, and/or client concerns while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

Be 21+ years of age.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
