JOB SUMMARY:
The Construction Coordinator provides on-site support for construction and infrastructure projects by serving as a liaison between project management, field supervision, subcontractors, vendors, and local stakeholders. This position assists with daily project coordination activities, logistics, material tracking, site access, community communication, and general field support to help ensure safe and efficient project execution. The Construction Coordinator works under the direction of the Project Manager and field leadership team and leverages local knowledge of the project area, facilities, and community resources to support construction operations. This is a temporary, project-specific position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Serve as the primary local point of contact for project support activities.
Coordinate with project management and field supervision regarding daily construction activities.
Assist with project logistics, including material deliveries, equipment coordination, transportation arrangements, and site access.
Maintain awareness of project schedules and communicate relevant information to project personnel as directed.
Support workforce mobilization and assist visiting project personnel with local orientation and site access requirements.
Coordinate with local agencies, community members, utility providers, and stakeholders as directed by project management.
Monitor project support needs and identify potential issues that may impact project progress.
Assist with documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping related to project activities.
Track incoming materials and verify deliveries to project sites.
Support procurement and purchasing activities by obtaining local information, coordinating deliveries, and assisting with vendor communication.
Conduct site visits and provide updates regarding project conditions, weather impacts, access concerns, and community considerations.
Promote and comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Perform other duties as directed.
SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of construction site safety practices.
Knowledge of water treatment, utility distribution systems, or rural Alaska construction projects.
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work schedules.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with employees, business partners, and clients through verbal and written communication.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including assignments in remote Alaska locations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
One (1) year of experience in construction, project coordination, logistics coordination, public works, utilities, facilities maintenance, or a related field required.
Valid state drivers license and qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Companys Driving Policy preferred.
Ability to pass drug, driving (if applicable), and background screening.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Brice Services has a fast-paced multi-tasking office environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. At times, work is performed outside of the office at indoor and outdoor job sites. Adaptability regarding schedule and design changes, and occasional overtime for immediate field support or bid processing may be necessary.
