About the role
The Supply Chain Manager for Clark, NJ is esponsible for driving a "forward-looking" supply chain mindset through S&OP and Control Towers in their plant site or function and ensure cross-functional alignment. This position will be accountable for helping to shape strategy and develop people, processes, and operational initiatives. This role will be the key Operations link between central functions and the site, including the on site warehouse team, materials teams and centralize planning and buying teams. The Supply Chain Manager will attract, develop, and retain a high performing supply organization at the site. Optimize asset utilization, inventory, and expense while driving best in class service and cash conversion results. Develop Data Based, Forward Looking Processes and Forums to provide business leaders the information and tools to profitably drive the business.
Key responsibilities
Maximize service, cash conversion and profitability for their site.
Lead the supply network strategy for their respective EUM / to support company growth strategies, and adapt to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost optimization goals.
Drive sales and operational planning process to deliver short term, midterm and long-term demand through strategic supply solutions.
Drive partnership with Commercial Team, and Integrated Operations Team and customers to meet our shared goal of "making it easier and more valuable for our customers to do business with us".
Under or over asset utilization identification during long range forecast analysis by closely leading Supply and Network Planners
Accountable for monitoring, analyzing, communicating and ensuring EUM OTIF and Inventory goals
Own and drive the S&OP and Control Tower processes for the EUM.
Develop processes and system standards to be used by the SCM at the sites for the EUM. Coach and develop Site SCMs in Plant Transformation, Planning, Inventory, and CT best practices
Assess capacity and supply constraints by validating supply scenarios to align the 30-day supply plan
Manage and evaluate supply planning performance through KPIs analysis
Accountable for the development of the Master Production Schedule by fostering collaboration between Supply and Network Planners and demand planners; further assess production capacities and constraints to achieve plans optimization
Validate analysis of supply constraints on availability, their related impact on priority customers and the effects on mid to long term service
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Demand Planning team and Commercial team in highlighting surplus capacity and inventory to drive trapped revenue opportunities and reduce inventory write-off.
Lead the SKU harmonization and portfolio simplification process in partnership with Sales, Demand Planning, Finance and R&D to drive profitable revenue across make-to-stock items (e.g., Brands and Collection Items
Support commercial in KEY account interactions
Coordinate Customer Care, Commercialization, TPM and Demand Management for the EUM
Actively participate in product portfolio reviews by highlighting supply chain opportunity costs, losses, and value leakage
Issue constrained allocations following Supply and Network Planners analysis and further liaise effectively with Customer Care, Finance and EUM Leads for sign off
Manage and develop Supply and Network Planners by building capability, coaching, and providing progression opportunities
Manage and develop (Matrix) site SCM by building capability, coaching, and providing progression opportunities
Collaborate with the Global Supply Manager and Supply Chain Leadership to drive process improvements to deliver best in class service for customer and top line growth
Ensure finished goods inventory levels and accuracy respect set targets; oversight end of life products to proactively prevent potential write-offs and align rework requirements with scheduling
Drive analysis and improvement plans for OTIF in the EUM
Qualifications and skills
10+ years of experience in supply chain including at least 5-years in product supply with increasing levels of responsibility in a manufacturing environment appropriate to food, and/or beverage, and/or consumer goods, and/or pharmaceuticals or a closely aligned sector in North America.
Proven track record developing and empowering high-performance teams.
Proven track record of cross-functional leadership. Influence in areas not under your leadership is a key part of success in this role.
Experience managing Supply/Demand in an S&OP or Integrated Business Planning, preferably during the implementation of these systems in an organization.
A Bachelor's Degree is required, and an advanced degree would be considered an asset.
APICS certification is a plus.
Comfortable with ambiguity.
Experience with CI programs and tools is preferred.

The typical hiring range for this role is $88,100 to $163,700 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
