Lead the Future of Behavioral Healthcare

Are you a Board-Certified Psychiatrist looking for an opportunity to influence patient care on a larger scale while continuing to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those facing mental health and substance use challenges?

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Medical Director to provide clinical leadership, physician oversight, and strategic guidance across a growing behavioral health organization serving communities throughout Southern Arizona.

This role offers the unique opportunity to blend direct patient care with executive-level leadership, helping shape treatment programs, mentor providers, and drive quality outcomes for individuals experiencing psychiatric crises, serious mental illness, and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities

Provide medical leadership and oversight for psychiatric and behavioral health services

Support quality improvement initiatives, clinical best practices, and regulatory compliance

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes

Mentor and support psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff

Participate in program development, strategic planning, and clinical decision-making

Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and standards of care

Help foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and patient-centered treatment

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

Active Arizona medical license or ability to obtain licensure

DEA registration or eligibility

Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Strong commitment to behavioral health, recovery-focused care, and clinical excellence

Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

Pay Details: $235,000.00 to $400,000.00 per year
