The Electrical Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with established quality and safety standards. This role coordinates closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams while managing project schedules, budgets, and overall performance across multiple concurrent projects.
Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of electrical construction projects from initial planning through execution, delivery, and closeout.
Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion of all project milestones.
Manage project budgets, track costs, and implement cost control measures to keep projects within financial targets.
Prepare, review, and process Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Oversee material management, including planning, ordering, and coordinating delivery of materials to meet project timelines.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, verify quality of work, and ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
Coordinate daily with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to align expectations, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.
Track project performance, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
Ensure all project activities comply with safety requirements and quality standards, with a strong focus on OSHA-related guidelines.
Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, effectively organizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines.
Communicate clearly and professionally with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, issues, and next steps.
Promote a culture of safety and quality on job sites and within the project team.
Essential Skills
Proven experience managing electrical construction projects, including responsibility for project schedules and budgets.
Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and track project schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
Strong background in project budgeting, cost control, and financial tracking for construction projects.
Hands-on experience handling RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Solid understanding of electrical construction practices and standards.
Experience working directly with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams in a project management capacity.
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities at the same time.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams.
Proven coordination and organizational skills to keep projects aligned and moving forward.
Demonstrated focus on safety and quality standards throughout project execution.
Familiarity with OSHA guidelines as they apply to construction and job site activities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Certifications such as OSHA 30 are a plus.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Experience conducting site inspections to monitor progress, safety, and quality is highly beneficial.
background in material management, including planning, procurement, and logistics, is advantageous.
Work Environment
This role operates in a mixed office and field environment, with time spent in the office as needed and frequent visits to project sites in the Carp and SB areas. The team environment is collaborative, with a small group of approximately five people who support one another and step in to help where needed. The standard work schedule runs from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Business casual attire is expected in the workplace. Field visits may require appropriate safety gear and adherence to site-specific safety protocols.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $48.07/hr.
