Job Title: Electrical Project Manager
Job Description
This role offers an experienced electrical professional the opportunity to lead commercial, industrial, and educational projects while contributing to a collaborative engineering team in Seattle. The Electrical Project Manager oversees electrical design and project management activities, produces complete biddable construction documents, and supports the growth and mentorship of less experienced team members. This position suits a candidate with strong technical skills in AutoCAD and Revit MEP who enjoys client interaction, cross-discipline collaboration, and developing into or expanding within a leadership role in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Lead electrical design and project management for commercial, industrial, and educational projects, ensuring high-quality and code-compliant solutions.
Develop and produce complete sets of biddable construction documents for electrical systems, including plans, specifications, and supporting documentation.
Collaborate closely with clients, internal disciplines, and project stakeholders to understand project goals and deliver effective electrical design solutions.
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects, maintaining strong relationships and representing the firm with professionalism.
Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to develop and coordinate electrical drawings and models, while continuing to learn and improve Revit skills.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines in a deadline-driven yet relaxed environment.
Adapt to evolving technologies, tools, and codes, integrating new standards and best practices into project work.
Support and mentor less experienced team members, demonstrating a passion for knowledge sharing and professional development.
Contribute to proposal efforts and client development activities as needed, helping to expand project opportunities and strengthen client partnerships.
Participate in internal events and development courses that support continuous learning, technical growth, and leadership development.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in electrical design and project management, with the ability to produce complete sets of biddable construction documents.
Strong experience with AutoCAD and Revit MEP for electrical design and documentation.
Experience in commercial, industrial, and educational projects, including commercial building design and construction.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain and strengthen client relationships.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
Demonstrated adaptability to changing technologies, codes, and design tools.
Demonstrated passion for mentorship and supporting the development of other team members.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
6-10 years of experience working with complex electrical systems.
Experience with proposal writing and client development activities.
LEED certified professional credential.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
Licensed Electrical Engineer in the State of California.
Experience across various project @types and market sectors.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $140.00/hr.
