Job Title: Construction Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to oversee and manage on-site construction projects. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure safety, efficiency, and quality in all aspects of the construction process.

Responsibilities

Manage the safety protocols on site to ensure a secure working environment for all team members.

Coordinate and supervise construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Implement and oversee change orders and modifications to project plans.

Read and interpret blueprints to guide construction projects accurately.

Prepare and manage two-week look ahead schedules to plan and anticipate project needs.

Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA's) to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Ensure as-built documents are accurate and reflect completed work.

Lead and manage a team of up to 10 workers, fostering a collaborative and productive work atmosphere.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in concrete and masonry work.

Expertise in managing change orders.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in preparing two-week look ahead schedules.

Familiarity with conducting Job Safety Analyses (JSA's).

Knowledge of as-built documentation processes.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position within a growing firm that has a heavy backlog of work. The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, focusing on teamwork and safety. Dress code is casual, appropriate for construction settings.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln Park, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
