How you make a difference

The Senior Assistant General Counsel Director provides legal guidance on the day-to-day operations of healthcare services and advises on regulatory matters and organizational risk. This role serves as a key legal partner to operational teams, supporting business, contractual, and compliance needs. The position delivers guidance across a wide range of legal areas, including regulatory compliance, contracts, and disputes. The role also supports internal teams by helping ensure alignment with policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as lead legal counsel to operational teams, advising on legal, business, contractual, and operational matters.

Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, including service contracts, physician agreements, leases, and corporate documents.

Provide guidance on regulatory compliance, risk management, and third-party disputes.

Support audits, investigations, administrative proceedings, and responses to regulatory inquiries.

Collaborate with internal teams and outside counsel to support compliance, training, and implementation of policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

Juris Doctorate Degree from an ABA-accredited institution.

Experience

7 to 12 years of legal experience relevant to the position duties.

Licenses/Certifications

License to practice law (OR authorization to practice as an in-house counsel attorney, if approved by CLO) in state of employment.
