Description

Robert Half partners with top healthcare organizations to connect detail-oriented and proactive Healthcare Administrative Assistants with fast-paced, dynamic teams here in the peninsula. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting cross-functional teams and is committed to delivering exceptional patient and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to healthcare providers, clinical staff, and leadership

Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings

Handle patient intake, registration, and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality

Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems)

Respond to patient inquiries via phone/email in a professional and timely manner

Assist with insurance verification, billing coordination, and referral processing

Prepare reports, correspondence, and general office documentation

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies

Requirements

Qualifications:

2+ years of administrative experience, preferably within healthcare or medical office settings

Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth) is a plus

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High level of attention to detail and confidentiality

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Preferred:

Experience supporting multiple providers or departments

Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare workflows
