As a Armed Security Officer Part Time Patrolling in Brooklyn, NY , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $42.24 / Hour

Sat07:45 AM - 02:15 PM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, local authorities, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify unusual conditions, and report security-related concerns.

Serve at an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal policies, site procedures, and applicable laws, maintaining professional bearing and handling assigned equipment responsibly.

Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with security-related escorts, presence, and response activities involving employees, visitors, and/or deliveries.

Minimum Requirements:

A Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.

An Armed Guard Card and/or License is required.

A Corrections Officer License is required.

A Law Enforcement Officer License is required.

A CPR Certification is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
