Job Title: RME Senior Mechanical & Robotics Maintenance Technician (Temporary)
Job Description
This role serves as a Maintenance Technician III, leading a team of service technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You design practical solutions for complex technical problems, support the operations maintenance team, and contribute to the reliability and performance of advanced automation and robotics systems.
Responsibilities
Lead service technicians in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
Support the operations maintenance team by designing and implementing solutions for difficult mechanical, electrical, and robotics-related problems.
Perform preventive maintenance on automation, robotics, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring and conduit, in accordance with technical drawings and safety standards.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints to diagnose issues and guide installation and repair work.
Install and fabricate components and assemblies required for automation and robotics equipment.
Perform mechanical maintenance and repair on conveyors, robotics, and related material-handling systems.
Work with robotics systems, including tasks related to robotics maintenance and basic programming on platforms such as FANUC and ABB.
Order parts and materials needed for maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely availability.
Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and enhance equipment reliability within the warehouse environment.
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience as a maintenance technician working with automated packaging and distribution equipment.
Proficiency in electrical system maintenance and repair, including wiring and conduit installation.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
Strong mechanical maintenance and repair skills, including work with hydraulics and automation equipment.
Experience performing preventive maintenance on industrial or warehouse automation systems.
Robotics maintenance experience, including exposure to robotics platforms such as FANUC and ABB.
Ability to support and lead other technicians in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
Demonstrated capability in installations and fabrication related to mechanical and electrical systems.
Competence in ordering parts and managing required components for maintenance and repair activities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience as a Robotics Technician or in a similar automation-focused maintenance role.
Familiarity with robotics programming concepts, particularly with FANUC and ABB systems.
Background in warehouse or distribution center environments with automated material-handling equipment.
Comfort working with both mechanical and electrical aspects of advanced automation systems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.65 - $42.65/hr.
