Work within the Lockbox Department

Process municipality tax payments, including:

Sewer payments

Property taxes

Motor vehicle taxes

Daily Tasks

Open and sort incoming mail (arrives ~9:00-9:30 AM)

Match checks to coupons

Verify:

Scan lines

Names match between check and coupon

Payment accuracy

Bundle and organize mail into batches

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review documents for accuracy and compliance to regulatory requirements.

Validate data in preparation for entry to a designated mainframe or computer system.

Properly secure collateral for the Bank.

Assist internal and external customers with basic problem resolution.

Perform other duties as requested by management.

This is a Contract position based out of Bridgeport, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
