Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Associate
Job Description
The Warehouse Associate operates a variety of material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods, accurately fulfills production orders, and maintains inventory accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role uses warehouse management systems and RF/barcode scanners to execute transactions, supports cycle counts and inventory control, and upholds safety and quality standards while working collaboratively across different work centers.
Responsibilities
Operate a variety of material handling equipment (MHE), including sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts, order pickers, turret trucks, and handcarts to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse.
Efficiently and accurately pick production orders from the warehouse according to work order packets, including specified warehouse locations, quantities, and other requirements.
Follow all instructions related to pallet @type, product segregation, special label requirements, and other specified conditions to ensure accurate and compliant order fulfillment.
Execute and record warehouse transactions using RF/barcode scanners within a warehouse management system (WMS), including Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS).
Monitor product quality frequently during handling and picking activities, and promptly report any issues to help mitigate safety and quality risks.
Conduct cycle counts and inventory counts as required, ensuring accuracy and completeness of inventory records.
Assist team members with variance analysis and reconciliation efforts when discrepancies in inventory are identified.
Support shipping and receiving activities as needed, including handling, staging, and verifying inbound and outbound materials.
Cross-train and perform duties in other work centers, such as Receiving and Inventory, when required.
Maintain accurate data entry and documentation related to inventory control, kitting, and warehouse transactions.
Adhere to all health and safety policies and quality standards while performing daily tasks.
Work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required to support operational needs.
Essential Skills
At least one (1) year of general work experience in a warehouse environment.
At least one (1) year of experience operating lift equipment, including an order picker and narrow aisle reach truck.
Qualified experience operating forklifts, order pickers, and/or turret trucks.
One or more years of experience using Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS) or other warehouse management systems (WMS) in fulfillment, distribution, or manufacturing environments.
Functional experience using RF/barcode scanners in high-volume warehousing environments.
Demonstrated ability to perform cycle counts and support inventory control activities.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to safely work for extended periods of time, primarily standing, including beyond an 8-hour workday.
Ability to lift materials up to forty-five (45) pounds safely and repeatedly.
Ability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required.
Consistent adherence to health and safety policies and quality standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience with warehouse management systems, including Oracle EBS and other WMS platforms.
Familiarity with inventory control processes, including inventory counts, variance analysis, and reconciliation.
Experience with RF scanners for data entry and transaction processing.
Exposure to kitting, shipping, and receiving operations in a warehouse environment.
Comfort working in a demanding, fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Self-managed and collaborative work style, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to cross-train and perform tasks in multiple work centers, such as Receiving and Inventory.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse setting with regular use of material handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, turret trucks, reach trucks, and handcarts. The position involves extensive standing, walking, lifting up to 45 pounds, and working around moving equipment and stored materials. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, starting at approximately 5:30 a.m., with the expectation of working beyond standard hours as needed, including overtime, holidays, and weekends. You will work with warehouse management systems such as Oracle EBS, RF/barcode scanners, and other inventory control tools in a high-volume, fast-paced environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to established procedures. Dress typically aligns with a warehouse setting, prioritizing safety and practicality, including appropriate footwear and any required protective gear.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $47840.00/yr.
