Job Summary:
The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation and Reentry is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Complex Warden and Unit Managers at ASPC-Winslow.
This position is responsible for managing daily operations of the Warden's Office, handling confidential correspondence, preparing reports, and coordinating administrative functions. The role requires a high level of discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a secure correctional environment.
Job Duties:
Manage daily operations of the Complex Warden's Office, including correspondence, visitors, phone calls, and special projects
Maintain the Warden's calendar and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conferences
Attend meetings, record, and transcribe minutes
Prepare reports, memos, and a wide variety of correspondence
Collect, research, and compile data for reports and special projects
Maintain confidential administrative, inmate, and staff records in accordance with retention schedules
Support administrative staff; serve as backup when needed
Retrieve and distribute mail and prepare records for archiving
Drive on State business as required
Perform other duties as assigned

Selective Preference(s):
Two (2) years of professional administrative experience supporting a manager or administrator
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and drug test.

Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver's license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver's license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver's license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).

Retirement :
Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS).
