Job Title: Product Engineer

Job Description

Provide technical support in sales and applications engineering by addressing technical inquiries from engineers and designers globally. Facilitate the implementation of next-generation interconnect solutions while supporting a wide range of existing product lines. Gain expertise in high-reliability interconnection systems, including military-standard cylindrical and rectangular connectors, connector accessories, conduit assemblies, cable assemblies, and wire harnesses. Collaborate with customers to address technical questions, solve interconnection challenges, and establish new build-to-order production packages. Interpret blueprints and customer proposals and work closely with design and engineering departments to address customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for sales and applications engineering.

Answer technical inquiries from global engineers and designers.

Support the implementation of next-generation interconnect solutions.

Manage existing product lines of interconnection systems.

Collaborate with customers to solve interconnection challenges.

Set up new build-to-order production packages.

Interpret blueprints and customer proposals.

Interact with design and engineering departments to address customer questions.

Essential Skills

Mechanical engineering

Technical support expertise

Sales experience

Aerospace knowledge

Program management skills

Project management skills

Bachelor's degree in engineering technology, technology management, mechanical engineering, or a similar technical degree program

Mechanical aptitude such as blueprint or schematic reading

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with CadKey or AutoCad (2D)

Experience with popular 3D CAD software such as Inventor, PRO/E, SolidWorks, CATIA

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
