Per Diem MRI Tech

PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center, Longview, WA

Variable shifts, may be scheduled between the hours of 0600 and 2130

$47.68 - $71.95

15% Differential in Lieu of Benefits

What You'll Do

Responsible for performing all routine and specialized MRI procedures by integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.

Operates MRI scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction and documentation of images, and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.

Applies the ACR Guidance Document for Safe MR Practices to ensure patient, visitor and caregiver safety.

Qualifications

Education

Accredited School of Radiologic Technology required, or equivalent education and/or experience as required for obtaining certification/license/registration as required by State for clinical practice

Experience

Minimum of 1 year previous experience preferred

Demonstrated venipuncture competency

Demonstrated knowledge of radiologic and MRI terminology, practices, procedures, physiology, and human cross-sectional anatomy

Demonstrated competency in computer-based programs as they relate to MR applications

Credentials

Required upon hire: ARRT - R or ARRT - MR or ARRT - Sonography or CNMT or ARMRIT

Required within 1-1/2 Yrs: ARRT - MR

Required: Upon Hire Basic Life Support

Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure required at hire
