As a Security Officer Access Driver in Brookhaven, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage site entry and exit, monitor activity, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Our team values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while putting people first every day.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials, and directing authorized individuals to the appropriate location.

Monitor entry and exit points for the distribution location, verify deliveries and pickups, and help to deter unauthorized access to warehouses, yards, docks, and other restricted areas.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.

Maintain detailed activity logs, visitor records, vehicle information, and other required reports related to access control and security-related procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including gates, trailer lots, loading areas, and parking locations, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Experience in loss prevention is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
