Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.60 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within an educational location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with campus contacts and/or local responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.

Monitor access points and observe visitor, student, faculty, and staff activity to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations.

Support campus operations by reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity, and by following post orders and established incident response protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.

Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field is required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
