Mold Maintenance Tech - Direct Hire

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Below are additional duties and responsibilities: Troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of plastic molds and hot systems. Daily use of toolroom equipment such as mills, surface grinders, and lathes to facilitate mold repair or improvement. Repair or request replacement parts, tooling, or hardware as needed to maintain replacement inventory. Set-up and operate all hand-tool equipment along with manual toolroom machines. Coordinate with our internal MGS Engineering department for specific operations or needs. Understand and use toolroom inspection equipment as required. Any other duties as assigned. ** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Experience and Skills A qualified Mold Maintenance Technician candidate would fulfill these requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Mechanically inclined. Familiar with hand tools. Familiar with repairing and preventative maintenance of molds is preferred. Understanding of toolroom equipment such as mills, surface grinders, and lathes is preferred. Understanding of mold building and injection molding process is preferred. Lock out/Tag out and Forklift experience.
