[Responsibilities]{.underline}

Greet patients, vendors/visitors warmly upon arrival, in a cheerful, professional manner.

Provide patients with intake and new patient forms, as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents.

Verify patient demographic and insurance information while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Prepare medical charts prior to appointment, scan and file patients records into our EHR post appointment

Assist with check-in and check-out processes using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) Nextech.

Process payments from patients for co-pays and uninsured visits.

Schedule appointments efficiently as well as confirming appointments.

Manage multiple-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette and timely responses.

Maintain accurate medical records by scanning and filing documents, updating patient charts, and managing health information with proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient privacy and handling sensitive health information responsibly.

Support front desk operations by managing appointment reminders, patient intake procedures, and. multi-tasking on various administrative tasks such as filing and data entry.

Main location is in Lancaster but must drive to Gahanna 2-3 times a month.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology.

Experience working with EMR/EHR systems.

Proficiency in computer skills.

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette on multi-line phone systems.
