Job Title: Warehouse Driver
Job Description
The Warehouse Associate supports day-to-day warehouse operations by handling shipping and receiving activities, maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counts, and providing helpful customer service for orders and basic installation questions. This role works across multiple departments within the warehouse and plays a key part in ensuring customers receive their orders accurately, efficiently, and with a positive experience.
Responsibilities
Perform daily shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing outgoing shipments, checking incoming deliveries, and verifying documentation for accuracy.
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory control to ensure stock levels are accurate and properly recorded.
Load and unload materials, products, and equipment safely and efficiently using appropriate tools and methods.
Float across all warehouse departments as needed to support overall workflow and operational efficiency.
Organize, label, and store products in designated areas to maintain an orderly and accessible warehouse.
Assist customers with placing orders, locating products, and answering questions related to orders and basic installation needs.
Provide friendly, professional customer service in person and over the phone, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues related to orders, inventory discrepancies, or shipping and receiving concerns.
Follow established safety procedures and warehouse policies to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Essential Skills
Proven experience in shipping and receiving within a warehouse or similar environment.
Hands-on experience with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock organization.
Customer service experience in a retail environment, with the ability to interact professionally and helpfully with customers.
Ability to load and unload products safely and efficiently.
Capability to work across multiple departments within a warehouse and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling orders, inventory, and documentation.
Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
Reliability and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience assisting customers with order-related questions and basic installation inquiries.
Comfort working in a role that requires both physical warehouse tasks and customer-facing responsibilities.
Willingness to learn warehouse processes and systems across different departments.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues as needed.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse environment where you will work primarily on a first-shift schedule. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
