Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Plymouth MA

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8 AM - 6 PM

Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate Must Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience

As a Security Officer in Plymouth, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, traffic-related concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while preparing accurate activity and incident reports.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of roadways, facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.

Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing locations, verifying authorized access and reporting suspicious, unauthorized, and/or disruptive behavior to the appropriate personnel.

Support coordination with site contacts, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders during incidents, special events, severe weather, and other operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
