TEKsystems is searching for customer service oriented candidates interested in an entry-level call center role, working as a Delinquency Control Counselor to start on June 22nd with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution.
This position is NOT remote and requires working onsite 3 days a week in Pensacola, FL.
Description: Call center production environment, auto-dialer making outbound calls, will receive in-bound calls. Early stage collections (1-30 days late), 80-120+ calls per day.
Responsibilities
Being in early stage collections does not affect a members credit score, their goal is to get someone out of collections before they go to Mid Stage or Late Stage Collections where it does affect their credit score.
Provide member financial counseling and mitigate loss for the credit union.
Contact delinquent members in an attempt to cure delinquency utilizing all payment options and loss mitigation tools offered by the credit union
Obtain detailed financial information from delinquent members and analyzes information gathered to determine optimal solutions for curing delinquency
Notate in Collection systems members' arrangements, reason(s) for delinquency, and any offered charge-off alternatives
Offer short/long term solutions including repayment plans, promises-to-pay, loan modifications, refinances, personal finance management and deferral programs
Explain and communicate relinquishing options such as settlements
Maintain working knowledge of the federal and state consumer protection laws
Experience and Qualifications:
1-3 years of recent experience working in a customer service/collections/financial environment
Ability to communicate effectively via email and phone
Ability to navigate multiple systems and high volume incoming calls
Professional written and verbal communication
Problem solving skills, patience, empathy
Pay: $17.00/ hourly
Regular Shift Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Saturday, 11:30am-8:00pm CST
Monday-Friday 11:30AM-8:00PM CST
Saturday's 8:00AM-4:30PM CST (MUST be able to work at least 3 Saturday's a month required)
** Will have a rotating off day during the week due to working on a Saturday
**MUST be available to work holiday's
Training Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM CST
The first 4 weeks of training is hybrid 2 days a week onsite. Immediately following Training, will move to Nesting.
Nesting is up to 4 weeks of technical training: taught phone etiquette, navigation, empathy-first three days are on site, technical training is then hybrid, 2 days a week onsite.
Up to 4 weeks after technical training is nesting led by leadership team to develop skills. Nesting is ON SITE for up to 4 weeks.
