SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Director of Product Marketing position for the Industrial Packaging division of Shurtape Technologies is a senior marketing role with direct responsibility for portfolio management and development aligning to consistent profitable growth while setting clear strategic direction for the product category. The role establishes the future pathways of the business through new product development, new market expansion and a constant focus on improving core solutions for our customers. The role involves leveraging end user, market and competitive insights to craft and execute customer-based solutions to ensure winning strategies by brand, category, channel and across all end user segments. Specific to the industrial packaging portfolio, the role includes worldwide brand ownership and responsibility for planning, investment and execution of marketing communication strategies, collateral material and brand guidelines. The position is recognized as part of the extended management leadership team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Full P&L ownership of a large annual revenue generating product category including seeking and implementing new and differentiated technologies as well as being an early identifier of key trends and market shifts to determine and execute strategies for long-term top and bottom-line growth.

Must possess robust financial acumen for in-depth analysis and identification of value drivers while being a substantial signing authority.

Leverage end user insights to create the vision for the category, across the existing portfolio of products as well as innovation, define concrete tactics and execution plans by channel/end user, guid
