Medical Office Assistant - Fairfield County, CT

We are partnering with a leading healthcare organization to hire a Medical Office Assistant. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and patient-focused medical environment.

Position Overview

This role provides both clinical and administrative support in an outpatient setting and is covering a leave of absence.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients for scheduled visits

Verify patient identity and update information in EMR (Epic)

Maintain patient confidentiality and follow safety standards

Measure and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, glucose)

Assist providers with patient flow and basic clinical tasks

Provide instructions for tests and specimen collection

Perform general administrative and clerical duties

Support inventory management of medical and office supplies

Use clinical and office equipment safely and effectively

Qualifications

Required:

Experience supporting MDs, DOs, PAs, or NPs

Strong administrative support skills

Familiarity with EMR

Preferred:

2-4 years of experience in a medical practice setting

RMA or CMA certification (not required)

Experience in small to mid-sized medical practices

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Fairfield, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
