Job Title: Entry-Level Machine Operator

Overview:

We are looking for a reliable entry-level candidate to operate cutting machines (automated band saws) in a manufacturing environment. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor machines to cut materials accurately

Read a tape measure and work with fractions/decimals to ensure correct cuts

Follow work orders and minimize material waste

Use basic tools and measuring equipment

Keep work area clean and organized

Support general production tasks as needed

Requirements:

6+ months of machine operating or production experience

Comfortable with basic math (fractions, measurements, conversions)

Good attention to detail and desire to avoid material waste

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

Reliable with strong attendance

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bronx, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
