Description
Amazon is building one of the world's most advanced delivery fleets - and we need a bold finance leader to help shape its future. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role driving investment strategy across a large-scale global fleet infrastructure.
As Finance Manager for WW Fleet Infrastructure Finance, you will serve as the strategic finance partner to one of Amazon's most consequential infrastructure organizations. You'll own the financial frameworks that guide major infrastructure investment decisions - evaluating, funding, and scaling the physical and operational assets that power last-mile delivery at a global scale.
This role is for a builder and a strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity, influences at the senior level, and brings rigor and creativity to complex investment decisions.
Why you'll love this role:
Direct ownership of investment strategy across a large-scale global fleet infrastructure asset base
Partnership with teams at the forefront of Amazon's delivery innovation
Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, Data Science, and Sustainability
Work that matters - your models and recommendations influence significant annual capital decisions
Key job responsibilities
Own financial planning and investment evaluation frameworks for fleet infrastructure, including accruals, variance analysis, and monthly close processes
Partner with business stakeholders to identify risks, evaluate financial impacts, and influence decisions that improve outcomes and reduce costs
Work across diverse data sources to identify quality issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement solutions
Improve, automate, and standardize finance processes to increase efficiency and scalability
Communicate complex financial topics clearly to varied audiences and lead projects that streamline reporting and planning
A day in the life
In this role, you sit at the center of consequential infrastructure investment decisions. Your primary stakeholders are WW Vehicle Infrastructure senior leaders, and your value is in translating complex financial data into clear strategic direction - giving leadership the confidence to commit capital, course-correct, and prioritize at scale.
A typical day might include:
Advising senior leaders on infrastructure investment trade-offs, bringing financial rigor to decisions that shape Amazon's long-term delivery capabilities
Developing and stress-testing investment frameworks that evaluate cost structures, risk profiles, and return potential across a large, complex asset base
Driving monthly close and variance analysis - and more importantly, turning those results into forward-looking insights that inform planning and resource allocation
Partnering with Engineering, Procurement, Data Science, and Sustainability to ensure financial strategy is embedded in operational and technical decision-making
Building scalable, automated reporting infrastructure that gives leadership real-time visibility into a global fleet asset base
Preparing executive-level materials that distill complexity into clear narratives and actionable recommendations
The problems you'll solve are strategic in nature - how to allocate capital across competing infrastructure priorities, how to build financial frameworks that scale with the business, and how to ensure that investment decisions are grounded in rigorous, forward-looking analysis.
