Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator supports the successful planning and execution of civil and structural engineering projects by coordinating project activities,

assisting Project Managers, and ensuring timely communication among internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. This role plays a key part in

maintaining project schedules, documentation, and overall project organization throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and executing construction projects

Coordinate project activities between engineering teams, contractors, clients, and vendors

Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met

Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, contracts, change orders, and meeting notes

Monitor budgets, invoices, and project costs; support financial tracking as needed

Facilitate communication and resolve scheduling or coordination issues

Organize and participate in project meetings; distribute agendas and follow-ups

Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred but not required)

2+ years of experience in project coordination or construction support (engineering firm experience preferred)

Strong organizational and time management skills

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
