Housekeeper
Pay: $19-$21 per hour
Shift Differential: +$1.25/hour for 2nd Shift
Location: Large Distribution Facility

1st Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
2nd Shift: Friday-Tuesday, 4:00 PM-12:30 AM (includes shift differential)
About the Role
We are hiring reliable and detail-oriented Housekeepers to support cleanliness, safety, and organization in a large distribution facility. This role is essential to daily operations and involves janitorial, sanitation, and light general labor tasks in warehouse, office, and common areas. Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain bag goods aisles to ensure a neat, organized appearance
Sweep, vacuum, and remove trash from assigned areas to keep floors safe
Pick up and dispose of broken pallets, cardboard, and debris throughout the facility
Empty cardboard and assist with making bales as needed
Remove damaged products and transport them to designated damage areas
Clean and maintain stairwells for safe and clear access
Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, breakrooms, and other common areas
Empty trash receptacles regularly throughout the facility
Order, restock, and monitor housekeeping and cleaning supplies
Sanitize high-touch surfaces such as door handles, railings, phones, and switches
Clean interior glass and window surfaces
Follow all safety procedures and promptly report hazards
During winter weather, shovel snow, apply ice melt, and maintain sidewalks
Preferred Skills & Abilities
Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience
Ability to lift and carry 50-60 lbs regularly
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift
Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and stoop throughout the workday
Strong focus on safety and cleanliness
Comfortable working in an active, general labor environment
Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
Ability to manage and reorder supplies accurately
Preferred Qualifications
Warehouse or industrial housekeeping experience
Familiarity with basic cleaning tools and equipment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment
This role is based in a large distribution center with approximately 200 employees across three shifts . The facility is not temperature controlled , so comfort working in varying conditions is important. Large fans are used during warmer months.

Hats and sneakers allowed
Steel-toed or composite-toe footwear not required
Work is performed throughout warehouse areas, offices, stairwells, and common spaces. This is an active, physically demanding role in a busy operational environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.25/hr.
