Position Summary

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is accountable for ensuring maximum cost effectiveness and the reliability of manufacturing process and workflow. Determines best practice methods and sequences of manufacturing operations. Ensures products and processes meet customer quality requirements by providing input and manufacturing plans for product design or modification. Supports the Win Strategy environment. This position has supervisory responsibility, however, this position mentors entry-level manufacturing engineers and new employees.

Essential Functions

Evaluates and develops innovative solutions to complex engineering and manufacturing production problems through identification and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes including conducting process analysis, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, conferring with suppliers. Prepares written and graphical work instructions to communicate manufacturing requirements and the required tooling to production personnel.
