2nd Shift Forklift Operator (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm)
Job Description
This role operates material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products in a clean, climate-controlled facility. You will primarily use a swing-reach forklift and are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment, as well as supporting additional warehouse tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
Operate a swing-reach forklift for the majority of the shift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products.
Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring products are stored and retrieved accurately from designated locations.
Load and unload materials using sit-down or stand-up forklifts as needed.
Follow all forklift safety procedures and complete required forklift safety training before operating any equipment.
Inspect forklifts and other material handling equipment before use and report any issues or safety concerns promptly.
Maintain accurate counts of products and support inventory control activities.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards in accordance with facility standards.
Support additional warehouse and packing duties as required by operational needs.
Demonstrate full availability and commitment during the month of December, including potential weekend work, to support increased Q4 volume.
Essential Skills
Minimum 1 year of experience operating a swing-reach forklift; 1-2 years of experience preferred.
Previous forklift certification obtained prior to assignment.
Proven ability to safely operate swing-reach forklifts for the majority of the shift.
Experience operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts for loading and unloading tasks.
Strong awareness of safety practices related to material handling equipment.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to all facility policies, including attendance requirements.
Willingness to complete and pass background and drug screening prior to assignment.
Ability to commit fully to work requirements during December, including possible weekend shifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Comfort working on a swing-reach forklift for approximately 60% or more of the time.
Willingness to participate in employer-provided GO1 Forklift Safety Training during the first 1-3 days on assignment.
Flexibility to perform additional warehouse or packing tasks beyond forklift operation when needed.
Strong reliability and punctuality to meet strict attendance expectations.

Work Environment
This role is on the 2nd shift, working Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. The facility is clean and climate controlled, providing a comfortable and orderly work setting. It is a metal-free environment, so personal items and attire must comply with a no-metal policy to avoid triggering security equipment. You will operate swing-reach, sit-down, and stand-up forklifts and complete structured forklift safety training during your first 1-3 days before operating any equipment independently. The position requires full commitment during the month of December, which may include weekend work to support peak Q4 volume

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
