Distribution Associate

Volt is immediately hiring a Distribution Associate in Cambridge, Ohio 43725.

As a Distribution Associate you will be responsible for:

Picking orders accurately using an RF scanner.

Packaging finished product and loading outbound trailers.

Retrieving and transporting materials according to daily work schedules.

Performing basic warehouse functions on the computer.

Communicating effectively in a team-based, high demand environment.

Maintaining clean and organized work areas.

Following customer-specific instructions and safety procedures.

Performing other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time opportunity.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (Overtime available on Saturdays)

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00AM

The ideal candidate will have:

Ability to follow instructions with limited supervision

Strong work ethic and self-motivation

Basic math skills

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Willingness and ability to complete training on warehouse equipment, including: fork lifts, standing crown pick trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.

Ability to work at heights of 20 feet while wearing fall protection.

Ability to climb stairs and perform physically demanding tasks safely.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
