As a Security Officer Mobile Driver Patrol in East Saint Louis, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help identify concerns and report security-related issues.

Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential compliance in support of controlled entry procedures common to an aerospace and defense location.

Observe facility operations and surrounding areas for suspicious behavior, unauthorized access attempts, and/or potential hazards, then report findings according to post orders and client guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related experience, law enforcement experience, and/or military experience.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
