Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Boston MA

Sunday - Thursday 11 PM - 7 AM

Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate Must Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Watch in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, traffic-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.

Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions when required, and support the protection of restricted areas, equipment, and/or government property in accordance with post orders.

Coordinate with supervisors, local law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel during alarms, medical incidents, hazardous conditions, and other security-related events while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
