Job Title: Manufacturing Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Manufacturing Operator where you will play a critical role in assisting with the production of diverse flavors. You will work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the creation of high-quality products by supporting machine operators and ensuring safety compliance.

Responsibilities

Assist machine operators with offloading of materials.

Abide by all safety regulations and rules.

Manually move buckets and vats of flavors.

Assist with mixing, blending, and compounding of products.

Work in an environment with a variety of flavors such as vanilla, garlic, and fish oil.

Perform various duties around the facility to assist when staff are unavailable.

Essential Skills

Experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical industries.

Proficiency in mixing, lifting, production, and manufacturing.

Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and material handling.

Ability to follow recipes and read documentation and work orders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with blending and compounding.

Comfortable with cleaning tasks including cleaning bowls after food production.

Ability to use a tablet.

Willingness to wear a beard mask or be clean-shaven.

Capability to lift 50+ lbs consistently.

Work Environment

The position requires working on the 2nd shift from 4pm to 12:30am, with potential overtime and weekend shifts during high production times. The facility is a flavor and fragrances environment, and proper PPE will be provided. Candidates should be comfortable with the presence of strong smells.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CERRITOS, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
